Pros: "Midnight" (black) wall plate looks great (I did not see / use many other colors) and once installed looks very clean - no screws, etc. definitely an upgrade from "standard" classroom wall plates.
Weaknesses: The eligibility of a plate in front of backup plate very close and photographing the plate to cover the treatment requires a little patience (or long nails) Of course you should only have to do it once but if you take a flat blade screwdriver to pry the front cover, beCareful not to 'depression' or scratch the plastic base with a blade screwdriver.
Notes: I noticed the pricing on these things varies widely (between $ 5.00 to $ 11.25 each) so you'd better shop around. We used these plates for all wall switches and means (13 total) in "communications" with a dark wall color and found that we had trouble finding the light switches in the dark ( "Midnight" is correct).
