I originally bought it Dimer to control overhead incandescent fixture in the bedroom since acquired more than a number. One press Decora style switch you from dull to bright or dim to off. Red light which shines when the switch is used in the pilot to locate the switch in a dark room. It's very cool very reliable switch. Although this kind of Pricy, it hits another dimmer I ever use. If you have a power outage,Switch remember clearly in your head. If I had to isolate one negative, it's really not, it would be that guests often try to use the switch by pressing hard on or off position. When visitors use the bathroom, I often find the switch to the locked position. Very minor problem. I have one of these switches use nearly every day for 20 years!

The Onset High-Wattage Incandescent Dimmer is a digital, micro-touch preset dimmer, designed for use with high-wattage (600W-2000W) lighting loads. The unit is equipped with an automatic fade and LED readout, providing full-function, three-way and multi-location dimming control when used with Onset Remotes. Onset Masters and Master Remotes have the ability to control up to four Onset dimmers simultaneously, offering an economical way to create preset lighting scenes. LED readouts, including:- A soft green LED which indicates the current preset- A bright green LED which indicates the current level- A blinking red LED which indicates a fading off process- A glowing red LED which indicates that the dimmer is off 3 second fade rate from 100% to 0% of light intensity. As an individual device, the Onset High-Wattage Incandescent Dimmer has the capability to recall two presetsa user-selected ôon" level and full brightness. Manual overrideallows the lights to be adjusted to any level without affecting the preset level(s), including full brightness. Automatic fadegently turns the lights on and off, thereby preserving the unit's lamp life. Power failure memorya feature that returns the dimmer to the level of lighting the unit held before the power failure occurred. Full-Function, Onset Remotes allow total dimming control from multiple locations.
